Yamaha OX99 - 1992

Yamaha started to participate in F1 from 1989 and using the experience they gained, they decided to build a new car that can rely on the F1 car. Even if the performances were lower in the championship, in 1991 they developed a new engine, OX99, which was a 3.7 litres V12 with 400 bhp. It had a carbon fiber chassis and the OX99 engine (same as the F1 car). The price of the car was $800.000 (above$1 million in 2006).
